Aug. 25, 2010: National Press Club Board Selects Press-Freedom Honorees The National Press Club Board of Governors voted on Aug. 23 to honor Missouri School of Journalism professor Charles Davis and Iranian blogger Kouhyar Goudarzi with its 2010 John Aubuchon Freedom of the Press Award. The award, given each year to one domestic and one international recipient, honors people who have contributed to the cause of press freedom and open government. [More]

Aug. 19, 2010: Biotech University Student Winner Attends International Science Conference In China As a master's student at the Missouri School of Journalism, Charlotte Bellis, MA '09, was awarded a trip to the World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology in Dalian, on the east coast of China. While at the conference this past summer, Bellis posted daily blogs and conducted interviews with scientists who made presentations at the various sessions she attended. [More]
