Jay H. Neff Hall Groundbreaking Held
|
|
The School held groundbreaking ceremonies for Jay H. Neff Hall during Journalism Week. Ward A. Neff, BJ '13, donated the largest individual gift ever made to the University to build the School's first facility in honor of his father. According to legend, Dean Walter Williams, who was eating breakfast with Ward Neff in Kansas City when he learned of the gift in 1918, was so stunned that he let the maple syrup for his pancakes overflow onto the table.
