Longtime City Editor Retired
|
Professor Eugene W. Sharp retired, ending his 45-year career as city editor of the Columbia Missourian. It was estimated that Sharp taught some 8,000 students in reporting since he began teaching in 1924. The School held "Professor Eugene W. Sharp Day" in his honor.
