SABEW Headquartered at School

The Society of American Business & Economic Writers, formed in 1964, moved its headquarters to the Missouri School of Journalism. Now known as the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, Inc., SABEW promotes the coverage of business and economic events and issues.
Letter dated April 13, 1984, from Dean Atwater encouraged SABEW to be headquartered at MU (top left); The Virginian-Pilot and Ledger-Star article announced the formation of SABEW; the summer 1984 newsletter announced SABEW's move to Missouri; SABEW's identity from 1984 and current (bottom).
