Dean Mills Named Eighth Dean
|
Dean Mills became the eighth dean of the Missouri School of Journalism, succeeding James Atwater. Having served as Moscow Bureau Chief for the Baltimore Sun in 1969, Mills later served as a Sun correspondent in Washington, D.C., from 1972-1975, where he covered the Watergate scandal, the resignation of Vice President Spiro T. Agnew and the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision. Mills received his Ph.D. in 1981 from the University of Illinois.
