Student International Experiences Expanded

The School launched a summer study program in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2003, a part of its efforts to expand programming in Latin America. The European Study Tour was established in 2004 when 22 students spent the first two weeks in January touring the major European capitals, museums and news media outlets in Paris, France; Brussels, Belgium; Vienna, Austria; and Frankfurt, Germany. About 60 students served as volunteer news media interns for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games.
About one in every four Missouri Journalism students took advantage of one of the many study abroad opportunities offered by the School, including Mexico (top left), France (center images) and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games (bottom).
