Curators Attempted Journalism Curriculum
|
Missouri Press Association members unanimously passed a resolution supporting a journalism school at the University of Missouri. The Board of Curators gathered a committee, led by University President Richard Henry Jesse, to develop a curriculum. The proposed journalism courses appeared in University catalogs from 1898-1900, but the state legislature never approved funding.
