Self-guided and organized tours of the Mizzou campus, Missouri School of Journalism, Reynolds Journalism Institute, Journalism Library, Mizzou Botanic Garden and other facilities will be available throughout the three-day celebration.
Mizzou Campus Tours
Walking tours of the University of Missouri campus will be guided by members of the Mizzou Tour Team. These guides are undergraduate students from all over the state of Missouri and throughout the country. Tours require significant walking. More information about tour times and starting locations for the Sept. 10-12 event will be available during on-site check in and registration.
Journalism Tours
Self-guided walking tours of the journalism complex will offer historical context as guests stroll through Neff Hall, Neff Annex, Walter Williams Hall, Gannett Hall and Lee Hills Hall. More information about tour times and starting locations, including those at KOMU and KBIA, will be available during on-site check in and registration.
Reynolds Journalism Institute Tours
Tours of the new Reynolds Journalism Institute will be available, featuring new facilities such as the Futures Lab and Demonstration Center, where new ideas for journalism will be tested; the new Frank Lee Martin Journalism Library, the world's largest journalism library; and the new headquarters for the Freedom of Information Coalition and Pictures of the Year International. Mizzou Botanic Garden
The Mizzou Botanic Garden is a living museum of thousands of plants displayed amongst famous icons, such as Jefferson's original grave marker and the Columns of Academic Hall. The garden is designed to delight campus visitors with its beauty and to provide a fertile academic environment for educators, researchers and students. The Garden is open year-round and is free to the public. Maps for self-guided tours are available in the Reynolds Alumni Center.
