Degree and Year: BJ '93 Company: Google, Inc. Company Web Site: http://www.google.com/ Title: Marketing Manager What do you do? I am currently a marketing manager at Google, Inc. How did you get your job? My previous company, FeedBurner, Inc., was acquired by Google on June 1, 2007. FeedBurner is the leading provider of media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. What is the best professional lesson you learned at the J-School? There is no such thing as a boring product. What advice do you have for current students? Become part of the conversation. Start a blog, join an online community, and participate in the technologies that are reshaping the world of media. What is your favorite J-School memory? My favorite professor, Henry Hager, once sent the entire class over to the Heidelberg to down a few pitchers of beer because our campaign ideas just weren't "creative enough."
