HENRY HAGER, who has been a faculty member of the Missouri School of Journalism since August of 1985, was also Vice President and Director of Creative Services for Young & Rubicam in Detroit, Mich. He has 35 years of experience in the advertising business, having held positions as a writer, copy chief and creative director. He is a veteran of World War II and worked for the Pacific Stars & Stripes as a news correspondent. He is a freelance writer as well as a published novelist. Hager earned his B.A. in English from Yale University in 1951.
