TERRY GANEY is the projects editor for the Columbia Daily Tribune, a former state capital bureau chief for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and a former correspondent for the Associated Press. His disclosure of Missouri's Second Injury Fund scandal helped send seven men to federal prison and made him one of three finalists for the Pulitzer Prize in investigative reporting. He has written two New York Times bestsellers: Under the Influence, the Unauthorized Story of the Anheuser-Busch Dynasty, co-authored with Peter Hernon, (Simon & Schuster 1991), and Innocent Blood, a True Story of Terror and Justice, (St. Martin's Press, 1989). As an embedded journalist with the U.S. Army, he covered the Iraq War in 2003.
