Walter Williams Hall
Walter Williams Hall, dedicated in 1937, honors the founding dean of the world's first school of journalism.

The Walter Williams Society was founded in 2002 to recognize the generosity of donors to the Missouri School of Journalism. Membership is given to individuals who have contributed at least $25,000 during their lifetimes or made planned gifts or estate provisions of at least $50,000. Individuals qualifying prior to December 31, 2008, will be recognized as charter members of the Society.

Recognition Levels:

  • Member: $25,000
  • Fellow: $50,000
  • Distinguished Fellow: $100,000
  • Very Distinguished Fellow: $250,000
  • Diplomat: $500,000
  • Ambassador: $1 million

Members of The Walter Williams Society also qualify for membership in the University of Missouri-Columbia's Jefferson Club.
