This application supplements the application for admission to the Graduate School of the University of Missouri. All documents (application forms, transcripts, resume, recommendations and GRE scores) must be received by the Graduate Studies Center, School of Journalism, before the deadline. A Statement of Doctoral Program Objectives. Discuss your reasons for pursuing a doctoral degree and why you think the Missouri program is suited to your objectives, your research interests, particularly as they relate to doctoral student, and your long-term employment goals. The statement should be 500 to 1000 words in length.
A 500-word abstract of your Master's thesis (or thesis proposal, if your thesis is not yet complete).
