STEVE VEILE, APR, BJ '74, is the founder, chairman and CEO of Communiqué, Inc., a strategic communication agency based in Jefferson City, Mo. He teaches Strategic Communications Campaigns, a capstone course at the Missouri School of Journalism. Since founding Communiqué in 1979, Veile has specialized in targeted solutions for the agriculture, banking, telecommunication and associations industries. His firm's many regional and national clients include the Independent Community Bankers of America, the national United Soybean Board, Ameren UE and the Missouri Cable Telecommunications Association. Veile formerly held communications positions with the Missouri State Senate, the Missouri Governor's Office and Six Flags Over Mid-America. He also covered Missouri state government as a legislative news reporter and was a freelance photographer for United Press International.
