Getting an "Axis Media Control" Error Message? The simplest fix is to use a different Web browser (Safari, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox). To fix this error, common to the Internet Explorer Web browser for Windows, try the eight steps listed below.
  1. On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Settings (or Custom Level...).
  4. Scroll list to find "ActiveX" settings.
  5. Make sure ActiveX controls/plugins are enabled and installed.
  6. Click OK. Click OK again.
  7. Hold the Shift key and click the Reload button simultaneously.
  8. If asked to install ActiveX plugins, click Yes.
